The Ghostlight Project

The Ghostlight Project

Join us as we participate with members of the theater community across the country and in collaboration with BRIC to launch The Ghostlight Project.

__________________________________________________

The Ghostlight Project was started by a group of theatre artists in response to the election, and more specifically the fear and division that was a result of it. Inspired by the idea of the ghostlight – a safety light required in dark theatres – members of our community are gathering at 5:30PM all across the country shining lights to affirm their commitments to diversity and inclusion.

On January 19, 2017 at 5:00pm members of the Theatre for a New Audience community will gather in the lobby of Polonsky Shakespeare Center as we make the pledge to stand for and protect the values of inclusion, participation, and compassion for everyone regardless of race, class, religion, country of origin, immigration status, (dis)ability, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

Founding Artistic Director Jeffrey Horowitz will deliver opening and closing remarks and refreshments will be provided.
