HUGH HARDY, FAIA

H3 Hardy Collaboration Architecture, founded by Hugh Hardy and colleagues, offers architectural services born of more than 40 years of professional experience. H3's collaborative spirit is evident in its design of new buildings, restorations of historic structures, planning for the public realm, and architectural interiors. The firm's work advances new ideas of enclosure, organization, and technology, while responding to the past without sentiment. Mr. Hardy's work is consistently recognized by civic, architectural, and preservation organizations for its progressive spirit and sensitive understanding of context. Mr. Hardy holds positions on a range of New York organizations, and he is a prolific author and a sought-after lecturer and juror. Mr. Hardy earned his bachelor and master's degrees in architecture from Princeton University.

Responsibilities

As Principal-in-Charge of a project, Hugh has central authority and responsibility for the administrative progress of the project from inception to completion. He will lead the programming and design process of the H3 team, attend all major policy meetings, direct project communication and observe progress during construction. He will also review and approve all H3 mock-ups to ensure the quality of work and detail design conforms to project intent.
