On Monday, January 26, friends and supporters of Theatre for a New Audience’s capital campaign gathered for an elegant evening to support the building of our new home.

The event took place in the spectacular Skylight Ballroom at The Puck Building, and featured delicious fare by Hudson Yards Catering Executive Chef Robb Garceau. The evening’s special guests and speakers included: Marty Markowitz, Brooklyn Borough President; actor John Turturro, Master of Ceremonies; board members Monica Gerard-Sharp and Audrey Heffernan Meyer, Hosts and Co-Chairs; Hugh Hardy, Principal Architect on the project; Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director of the Theatre; Joe Chan, President of the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership; and Bartlett Sher, stage director.

Thanks in part to funds raised at this event, we are now at 78% of our campaign goal, and are moving forward towards a fall 2009 groundbreaking.
