The Opening Night marathon of The Jew of Malta and The Merchant of Venice was a total success with two sold-out performances and a standing ovation for Merchant!Theatre lovers packed the house to witness American theatre history being made. The rarely performed Malta and the well-known Merchant are being performed together in repertory for the first time in the U.S.
Afterwards, invited guests assembled at Gallagher’s Steak House to celebrate the triumph with cast and crew. The post-show celebration was sponsored by TFANA Board member Marlène Brody.
