Rachel Lovett

Rachel Lovett joined Theatre for a New Audience as Capital Campaign Director in 2005. As the Director, Rachel is responsible for all aspects of fundraising and communications for the Campaign. Directing the Campaign is a return to her second, and favorite, of three careers.

Rachel started her professional work life in the hotel industry, where she worked in the sales, marketing and food and beverage areas for Marriott, Sheraton, the Waldorf Astoria and a small luxury hotel group. Following that, Rachel launched into her second career – fundraising. She was the Special Projects Director for The Fresh Air Fund and the Director of Development and Communications for SHARE. For her third career, Rachel chose wine. At 57 Main Street Wine Co. she directed client relations, marketing and education programs for an international wine and spirits portfolio. She also set up their philanthropic platform, adopting wine farm schools, building a graduate education partnership with Rutgers and Cape Town Universities, and contributing to the better education and welfare of wine farm workers in South Africa.

Rachel is delighted to be back in the fundraising world and very excited about using her wide range of for- and non-profit skills to run a successful Capital Campaign for Theatre for a New Audience.
