FRANCINE SEGAN, one of America’s foremost experts on Italian cuisine, is a noted food historian and the James Beard-nominated author of six books including Shakespeare’s KitchenDolci: Italy’s Sweets and Pasta Modern. She is the host of NYC’s popular weekly TV series “Americans In Love With Italy” and is a frequent guest on many other TV programs, including The Today Show and The Early Show. Francine has been featured on numerous specials for PBS, The Food Network and the History, Sundance and Discovery channels.
