Theatre for a New Audience is thrilled to welcome Sprint as our newest corporate partner, thanks to their recent grant of $25,000 in support of the Theatre’s educational programming. We are proud to be one of only two recipients in the New York area.
During the 2010-2011 school year, this grant will help fund our work in New York’s Public Schools, where we run the New Voices Project, our playwriting program designed to empower young voices, as well as the World Theatre Project, our 13-week Shakespeare program. This year, World Theatre Project students will study Shakespeare’s romance, Cymbeline, and attend a matinee performance in January 2011 at The New Victory Theater on 42nd Street.
