After an enormously successful run, the production of The Merchant of Venice will have an exciting second life. When the final curtain goes down on Merchant in New York, the entire production will head to Stratford-upon-Avon to participate in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Complete Works Festival. In this historic festival, every work by Shakespeare will be performed: 37 plays, the sonnets and the narrative poems. This is a thrilling event for Shakespeare lovers and theatre companies alike. Not only is the RSC hosting international and multi-disciplined companies exploring the Bard’s works, but audiences are seeing rarely performed plays in the same venue as the most renowned.

While our production is in England, TFANA is leading a wonderful theatre tour of London and Stratford. On the agenda are plays and concerts in London, and, in addition to Merchant, King Lear with Sir Ian McKellen and Coriolanus with William Houston in Stratford.
