Theatre for a New Audience in The Wall Street Journal

Theatre for a New Audience was recently highlighted in an article in The Wall Street Journal.  The Journal polled 40 artists in the New York area to ask how they would distribute an imaginary $1M to arts organizations in the city, and our Theatre made the top ten!  One artist designated his would-be gift for a second space to be “dedicated to the work of young directors and designers (under 35) to produce constructed pieces or imaginative interpretations of classics.” Coincidentally, this is one of the intentions of a new program we will be launching in our new home
