Associate Artistic Director Arin Arbus’ Work Profiled In The New York Times

img_2749-200x300.JPGThe New York Times recently featured Theatre for a New Audience Associate Artistic Director Arin Arbus and her volunteer work with prisoners at the Woodbourne Correctional Facility in upstate New York.

Arbus, who directed the Theatre’s current production of Measure for Measure as well as last seaso’s Othello, has spent her free time working with a group of inmates at the medium-security men’s prison as part of a program called Rehabilitation Through the Arts since 2007. There, she has directed the group in a production of Of Mice and Men as well as an original play about family relationships called Starting Over.
